About
What inspired you to pursue a law degree?
I have wanted to study law since I was in the 6th grade, due to a mock trial that I took part in during a Jr. National Young Leaders Conference. It piqued interest in the debating and fact-finding aspects of law, which ultimately led me to pursuing a law degree.
Why did you choose OU Law?
I decided to attend OU law for a variety of reasons such as the desire to remain close to my family in Edmond, the love of Norman that I had discovered during my 4 years of undergraduate work, a vibrant community at OU law, the school's good track record of turning out successful lawyers, a nice scholarship offer, and the appeal of the summer program allowing me to get a feel for OU Law before having a full semester of classes. I cannot overstress the importance of that summer program, or just how awesome it was to be able to take Contracts and Legal Foundations before my 1L year starts in August.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I have an avid interest in European, specifically German and English, history, and I have been able to go to Germany on three different occasions.
