About
What inspired you to pursue a law degree?
My late grandfather, an OU graduate and Oklahoma native himself, worked as an attorney for Amoco Oil for many years. He ultimately won a case for the company in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, and his certificate for doing so hangs above my desk. I never knew my grandfather, but I know enough about the type of person he was to want to carry on his legacy.
Why did you choose OU Law?
The Energy Law program at OU is second to none, and I'm sincerely humbled to have been selected for admission. The support and generosity shown to the OU Law program by alumni and benefactors in the energy industry is a clear signal of continued strength and lasting prestige, and one day I hope to add value to that.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and have timidly fished on rivers there within ten feet of massive, wild grizzly bears.
