About
What inspired you to pursue a law degree?
Two things. First, my grandfather. He practiced law for nearly 50 years, and he had a reputation for helping defend "the little guy" in oil and gas disputes here in Oklahoma. I liked the sound of that. Second, a law degree will give me instant credibility and prepare me to make a significant cultural impact in a variety of contexts.
Why did you choose OU Law?
It's a family thing, mostly. Both my dad's parents, as well as my dad's brother, are OU Law graduates. I wanted to join the club! Plus, I've always wanted an "official" reason to cheer for the Sooners. Now I've got one, which is all the more important since I married a Longhorn!
What is something most people don't know about you?
Most days, upon returning home from work, I start my night with a Coke and some Cool Ranch Doritos.
