65 Employers Confirmed for OU Law Fall Recruitment Program

Office of Professional and Career Development (OPCD) staff have confirmed more than 65 employers for the Fall Recruitment Program. This is twice the number of employers compared to registration in July 2011! The program is scheduled to begin Aug. 13 and will continue through the end of September.  More employers are expected to sign up and participate throughout the fall semester, further increasing job opportunities for students at OU Law.

1L Career Development Night at OU Law

The University of Oklahoma College of Law hosted the entire 1L class on January 19, 2012, for Career Development Night.  This event was generously sponsored by Crowe & Dunlevy and Devon Energy.  The purpose of the event was to expose 1Ls to the various areas of the law including corporate, law firm and government sectors. 

The event began with a keynote address from Dean Joe Harroz.  Dean Harroz emphasized to the students that grades in law school, and particularly in their first year, are not determinative of their success.
