Since September 2011, students, faculty and staff have been able to enjoy more than 200 pieces of Native American art displayed throughout Andrew M. Coats Hall.
The artwork is part of the collection of James T. Bialac, an Arizona attorney who began collecting Native American art in 1964. Over the next 46 years, he amassed one of the most important private collections in the world. In 2010, he gave this outstanding collection to the University of Oklahoma Foundation to be used in conjunction with the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. A portion of the collection has been designated to the College of Law.
