OU Law’s Native American Law Student Association wins Chapter of the Year!

The OU Native American Law Student Association (NALSA) brought home several honors from the Federal Bar Association’s 38th Annual Indian Law Conference. 
NALSA was named Chapter of the Year in recognition of its contributions in increasing knowledge of Native American law.  NALSA hosted an ongoing speaker series, raised over $2000.00 for a NALSA fellowship to assist a student in working with Native communities and hosted this year’s National NALSA Moot Court Competition.

Roy Brown, the National NALSA Vice President, was awarded 3L Member of the Year for his outstanding work at the national level.

Current OU NALSA President Kelbie Kennedy was elected to National NALSA.  She will serve as the Area 3 Representative next year.
