OU Law Volunteers Will Do Your Tax Return for FREE!

If your income was below $50,000 for the past year, members of the OU College of Law Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will complete your tax return for free.  Just bring a valid ID (preferably a social security card) for you and your dependents and all supporting tax documents to the Norman Public Library any Wednesday or Thursday before April 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the IRS-certified tax preparers will be happy to assist you.

The VITA program started in 2006. In a typical year, about 25 OU Law students spend more than 500 hours preparing and electronically filing federal and state income tax returns for about 350 taxpayers.
