On-Campus Interviewing

The University of Oklahoma College of Law Office of Professional & Career Development's (OPCD) Registration for Fall 2009 Recruitment begins Monday, March 16, 2009, on Symplicity, OPCD's on-Line Job Bank and Web-Based Recruiting System. This system provides you with the opportunity to participate in our On-Campus Interview Program or via Resume Collection, Direct Application, or Video Conferencing for Fall 2009 Recruitment.

FALL ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEW PROGRAM

Fall 2009 On-Campus Interview Program

The Fall 2009 On-Campus Interview Program will take place August 17 through October 9, 2009, at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. To register for the Fall 2009 On-Campus Interview Program, we ask that you request a schedule using Symplicity.

Instructions for Submitting Your Fall 2009 On-Campus Interview Program:

  • To register, access Symplicity by going to employers.
  • Click the [OCI] tab at the top of the page.
  • Click on "Schedule Request"
  • Click "Request Schedule"
  • Complete all required information:
    • Select one preferred date and two alternate dates;
    • Schedule length of interviews (20 or 30 minutes);
    • Select the number of rooms needed for interviews;
    • Select time span (full schedule or morning or afternoon schedule);
    • Select class year(s) (1L, 2L, 3L);
    • Select the document(s) you wish to request from students in conjunction with resumes (cover letter, transcript, writing sample);
    • Indicate if you have any additional requests;
    • Indicate your preferred and required hiring criteria; and
    • Please disregard the survey question box.
  • Click the "Save" and then the "Submit" tabs at the bottom of the page.
  • If you want to add multiple offices to the schedule, type the office locations into the scheduling notes box.

When the OPCD receives and approves your schedule request, you will receive an email notification. You will then be able to access this schedule by clicking on [OCI] and then clicking on the "Confirmed Schedules" tab.

Instructions for Submitting Your Spring 2009 Resume Request:

This is for employers who are interested in the University of Oklahoma College of Law students but are unable to interview on-campus.

  • Click the [OCI] tab at the top of the page.
  • Click "Schedule Request"
  • Click "Request Schedule"
  • Choose "Resume Collect"
  • Complete all required information.
  • Click the "Save" and then the "Submit" tabs at the bottom of the page.

Instructions for Submitting Your Spring 2009 Direct Application Request:

This is for employers who are interested in the University of Oklahoma College of Law students but are unable to interview on-campus.

  • Click the [OCI] tab at the top of the page.
  • Click "Schedule Request"
  • Click "Request Schedule"
  • Choose "Resume Collect"
  • Choose "Yes" next to "Direct Send"
  • Complete all required information.
  • Click the "Save" and then the "Submit" tabs at the bottom of the page.

Fall 2009 Resume Request

This is for employers who are interested in the University of Oklahoma College of Law students but are unable to interview on-campus.

Fall 2009 Video Conferencing Request

This is for employers who are interested in the University of Oklahoma College of Law students but are unable to interview on-campus.

To schedule a video conference interview with a candidate, please contact Marcus Bivines.

SPRING ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEW PROGRAM

The University of Oklahoma College of Law students and graduates seek employment experiences both within and outside of the legal profession: in private practice, from large firms to solo practices; in federal, state, and local government; in public interest settings; in corporations and businesses; and in non-profit organizations.

The Spring Interview Program is primarily a first-year student recruiting event and provides a unique opportunity for employers to interview the University of Oklahoma College of Law students early in their law school careers, to present their summer programs, and to create lasting working relationships. Additionally, employers seeking to interview upperclassmen are also encouraged to participate. Registration for Spring 2009 Recruitment will begin on November 16, 2009.
