American Indian and Indigenous Peoples Law

OU Law has a rich and long tradition in American Indian and Indigenous Peoples Law, led by world-class faculty members.

The Juris Doctor Program

American Indian and Indigenous Peoples Law is part of our culture. Almost half of our students take at least one American Indian or Indigenous Peoples’ Rights course during their time of study. The American Indian Law Review hosts what has become one of the largest American Indian Symposia in the country. We even offer a J.D. certificate in Native American Law, and an LL.M. and online M.L.S. in Indigenous Peoples Law. We are committed to excellence in this important field.
