International and Comparative Law

At OU Law, we recognize the importance of international and comparative law in an interconnected world.

The Juris Doctor Program

Our students are offered a variety of international and comparative law courses and opportunities to engage in international affairs internships. OU Law participates in the State Department’s Diplomacy Lab program, which allows students to research topics of interest to the Department and brief foreign affairs officers on their findings.

Students can also earn a Joint Juris Doctor and Master in International Studies. As a way to give our students unique insights into the foreign policy making process, we host innovative international law and affairs conferences linked to influencing the U.S. Government’s foreign policy decisions. To top it all off, we also have a vibrant International Law Society that hosts numerous international law and affairs speakers on campus.
