    ALUMNI / DONORS

    • From Raegan King, Director

We are so appreciative of the support OU College of Law receives from donors. Their support enhances our academic and scholarship programs, allowing OU Law to provide a quality legal education at a reasonable cost.

    • From Dean Harroz

When I meet with alumni, I am always amazed to discover how many have never made it back to Norman.  While I encourage you to come tour the campus (you won’t believe the changes!), I am equally as eager to come visit you in your hometowns. I hope to see you at an upcoming alumni event.

Master of Legal Studies*

The Master of Legal Studies (MLS) Program* at OU Law extends the school’s longstanding history of excellence and expertise in indigenous peoples law and energy and natural resources law. This master’s degree allows students seeking a legal knowledge in energy and natural resources law or indigenous peoples law to gain that knowledge in less time than the three years of full-time study required to earn a Juris Doctor degree.

*Pending State Regent Approval

MASTER OF LEGAL STUDIES IN INDIGENOUS PEOPLES LAW (ONLINE)

Located in the heart of the original Indian Territory, OU Law provides an ideal environment for the study of Native American law and issues concerning indigenous peoples.  Oklahoma contains nearly forty tribal nations and the second largest Native American population in the United States. Given their presence and the history of the region, Indian law affects virtually all areas of legal practice, making it a vibrant and growing field.

The MLS in Indigenous Peoples law can be completed online in two years of part-time study.

MASTER OF LEGAL STUDIES IN ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES (ON CAMPUS)

OU Law is at the forefront in its offering of legal courses focused on energy and natural resources.  With many energy and natural resources companies headquartered in Oklahoma, OU Law sends a large number of graduates into energy-related fields and practices every year. OU Law prepares students to be leaders in energy and natural resources law and policy, assisting in the sustainable development of all forms of energy and natural resources in an environmentally responsible manner.

The MLS in Energy and Natural Resources can be completed in one year of full-time study or two years of part-time study.
