Casey Delaney is the Executive Director of Development and Alumni Affairs. In this role, Casey oversees all aspects of fundraising for the University of Oklahoma College of Law including major gifts and annual giving programs. She specializes in fundraising, development strategy, and meaningful alumni engagement. Casey enjoys connecting OU Law alumni with their philanthropic goal of supporting student scholarships, faculty research, and other exciting programs and opportunities that would otherwise not be available without the support of alumni and friends.
Casey earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where she served as Articles Editor of the American Indian Law Review, published an article, was a member of the Dean's Council, and was named a Top Ten Oralist in the First Year Moot Court Competition. Following law school, Casey practiced with a well-established firm in downtown Oklahoma City for nearly five years, where her state and federal practice was focused on complex civil litigation. She also volunteered numerous hours as a pro bono attorney with Oklahoma Lawyers for Children. In May of 2009, Casey was named a Super Lawyers® Rising Star, an award given to less than 2.5% of lawyers under the age of 40.
Casey is admitted to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and United States District Court for the Western District. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
