Katie Griffin is a Visiting Professor of Legal Research and Writing. Professor Griffin joined the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2019 after serving as a litigation associate in Dallas, Texas, and most recently a partner at Sill Law Group in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While in private practice, Professor Griffin concentrated on complex mass tort litigation, with a primary focus on pharmaceutical cases and consumer class actions. Professor Griffin served as a member on Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees in multidistrict litigations throughout the United States. She served on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice and received the Tom Wallace Service Award from the Oklahoma Association for Justice.
Professor Griffin earned her Juris Doctor degree with distinction from the University of Oklahoma, where she served as the Articles Development Editor for the American Indian Law Review receiving recognition as the Outstanding Law Review Candidate, and was a member of Order of Barristers. Professor Griffin currently serves on the Board of Advocates for the Stephenson Cancer Center and the Redbud Board for the Oklahoma City Redbud Run. She was the former Chair for the JCPenney Leadership Center Alumni Advisory Board at the University of Oklahoma Michael F. Price College of Business.
