Terry J. Hull joined the O.U. College of Law at the O.U. Legal Clinic in 1994. She teaches and directly supervises legal interns in the criminal division of the O.U. Legal Clinic. She also teaches the Criminal Litigation Skills class. Course topic emphases are applied legal skills, substantive criminal law, state procedural criminal law and ethics.

Hull began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Oklahoma County until 1985. From 1985 until 1992, she was a statewide Assistant Appellate Public Defender in the General Appeals, Capital Appeals and Capital Post-Conviction Resource Centers of the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System, serving also as Deputy Appellate Defender in the Capital Appeals Division and Resource Center. She has served as Administrative Director of the Oklahoma Wildlife Federation and as Staff Attorney to the Oklahoma Disability Law Center and has maintained a private practice. She has tried and appealed a variety of criminal cases ranging from traffic cases to capital murder.

Hull is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Cleveland County Bar Association. She is admitted to the practice of law in Oklahoma, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma and the Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
