Simulation courses provide substantial experience in the practice of law not involving an actual client.

These courses “simulate” the experience of a lawyer advising or representing a client or engaging in other lawyering tasks.

  • Competitions (Moot Court only) (1 credit—may be repeated up to 3 times)

  • Human Rights Practicum (3 credits)
  • Intermediate Legal Writing: Introduction to Drafting (2 credits)

The following Simulation Courses have prerequisites or require faculty approval prior to enrollment:

Inter-school moot-court team members only.

Prerequisites:

Completion of 1L year

Selection to be on a Competition team through a competitive application process. Students selected for a moot court team may elect to enroll in the Competitions course for the semester in which the team competes. Contact Taylor Freeman Peshehonoff for application information.
