Prof. Drew Kershen Speaks at Oklahoma Water Law Conference

Last week, OU College of Law Professor Emeritus Drew Kershen spoke at the 9th Annual Oklahoma Water Law Conference. The conference theme was "Focus on the Historic Water Rights Settlement Agreement." Prof. Kershen's presentation -- "The Process of Water Settlements: Where Do We Go From Here?" -- was part of the "Academic Perspectives on the Agreement" portion of the CLE. Prof. Kershen served as one of the conference's Program Co-Chairs.
 
Prof. Kershen is the Emeritus Earl Sneed Centennial Professor of Law at the OU College of Law. He joined OU Law in 1971 and taught agricultural law, legal history, professional responsibility, and water law until his retirement in 2012. He taught the water law course at OU Law for more than 20 years, and has been active in Oklahoma water law issues since 1989. He is a frequent lecturer on water law and has authored grant reports, articles, and book chapters on Oklahoma water law matters.
