On June 3 and 4, OU Law hosted tribal business leaders, government officials and legal scholars from around the world for an examination of topics relevant to indigenous trade, tribal governments and international business.
Criminal Clinic student and 3L Matthew Acosta was recently involved with a project with the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office to amend the sentence of a defendant who was convicted of a felony charge right before the passage of State Questions 780 and 781.
OU Law alumni David Bernstein (’83) and Noble McIntyre (’95) are two of the three founding members of Lawyers Fighting Hunger, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger in Oklahoma. With the collaboration of other local organizations and lawyers across the state, Bernstein and McIntyre have organized the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers 9th Annual Day of Kindness to help Oklahomans this Thanksgiving
