1. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in a small community outside of Broken Bow in Southeast Oklahoma.
2. Where did you attend undergrad?
Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma
3. What degree(s) have you earned?
Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, Magna cum Laude
4. Why did you choose to attend OU Law?
I chose OU Law because of its reputation as one of the highest ranked law schools in the region. I want to use my legal education to help improve Oklahoma, especially the rural areas, so regional ranking was extremely important to me. In addition, I admire the dedication to education that is evident here at OU. The atmosphere at OU is remarkable. I appreciate the focus on providing support and resources to students. OU seemed like the best fit for me.
5. What is your favorite thing about OU?
My favorite thing about OU is how welcoming the faculty, staff and students have been so far. I really look forward to the next three years at OU.
6. What (or who) inspired you to pursue a legal education?
Having conducted research in both chemical engineering and psychology, I developed a passion for analyzing information and using facts to formulate solutions to problems. When considering my future plans, a legal education seemed the most logical option. I look forward to utilizing my background in research as I approach the new challenge that is the field of law.
7. What is an interesting fact about you?
An interesting fact about me is that I have very diverse hobbies. While in undergrad, I was a radio DJ for three years and, among other things, I was a founding member of OSU’s Quidditch Association.
