1. Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, just north of Dallas.

2. Where did you attend undergrad?

I attended the University of Oklahoma.

3. What degree(s) have you earned?

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in International Studies and European Studies.

4. Why did you choose to attend OU Law?

I chose to attend OU Law because of their unique joint JD/Master’s of International and Area Studies program. I met with their representatives a few times at law school fairs and was so impressed with how knowledgeable and welcoming they were. After looking at many other schools, this proved to be the best fit for my interests.

5. What is your favorite thing about OU?

My favorite thing about OU is the sense of community and camaraderie that you get attending school with students that have so much school pride. While walking down the beach in New Jersey a few years ago, I heard “Boomer!” and knew that, as an OU alum, I was part of the Sooner family for life!

6. What (or who) inspired you to pursue a legal education?

During the summer of 2009, I took a class on the European Union. As part of that class we travelled to Brussels, Belgium, to visit the European Union headquarters and meet with various representatives to get an in-depth understanding of how the EU works as a global actor. It was so interesting and eye-opening that I knew at that point I wanted to learn as much as I could about law so that I could hopefully one day bring about as much change in the world as those EU representatives.

7. What is an interesting fact about you?

I was a Percussion Performance major for my first two years at the University of Oklahoma and was in the Pride of Oklahoma Drumline!
