About
Angie Hockett joined the OU College of Law as the Director of Financial Services in October of 2021. Angie has over 30 years of senior-level internal audit and accounting management. A professional with proven fiscal management abilities, coupled with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage cohesive and dynamic teams. Angie began her career at American Fidelity in Oklahoma City as an internal auditor where she spent three years auditing the complete range of American Fidelity's holdings. Angie then accepted an auditor position with the University of Oklahoma's office of internal audit, where she spent 18 years helping to improve the University's financial and managerial roads. Additionally, Angie had primary supervisory responsibility for the internal audit function at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, on behalf of the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents. For the last 14 years, Angie has served as the University of Oklahoma's senior asset administrator, where her role was to successfully refine a comprehensive asset management system, complete with mapping and documentation, to better value and monitor Norman Campus plant assets.
