Meet the Class of 2015
Breanne SiglerGrain Valley, Missouri
1. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Grain Valley, Missouri, which is a small town outside of Kansas City.
2. Where did you attend undergrad?
I attended Texas Christian University for my undergrad.
3. What degree(s) have you earned?
I earned a double degree in International Advertising/Public Relations and French, with a minor in Political Science.
4. Why did you choose to attend OU Law?
I loved OU Law from the moment I visited it. The international law classes were what initially piqued my interest, but the people I met during my visit were what really sealed the deal for me. Every person I met was so friendly and welcoming, from administrators to students to professors. I liked that there wasn't the overly competitive atmosphere that many other law schools have. I saw that the students were genuinely friends. After my visit, it was clear to me that OU was the school for me, both because of its impressive academics and because of the great people I met while visiting.
5. What is your favorite thing about OU?
Other than the great people I have met so far, I love the beautiful campus and the small-town feel of Norman.
6. What (or who) inspired you to pursue a legal education?
My grandpa was my inspiration for my interest in a legal career. He was a small town lawyer who made a huge impact on the tiny town where he lived and worked. He loved what he did and couldn't bear to retire until his late 70s, which further emphasized his love for his career. I hope that I will be as influential and well-loved as my grandpa in my future career as a lawyer.
7. What is an interesting fact about you?
I'm fluent in French and want to somehow incorporate that into my law career.
