Meet the Class of 2015

1. Where did you grow up?

I grew up in a small community, known as Latta, just outside of Ada, OK.

2. Where did you attend undergrad?

I earned my undergrad degree from the University of Oklahoma.

3. What degree(s) have you earned?

I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology.

4. Why did you choose to attend OU Law?

I chose OU Law because of its great reputation. I am confident the education and expertise I receive at OU will prepare me to become a very successful lawyer. I will take great pride in letting people know that I earned my law degree from the University of Oklahoma.

5. What is your favorite thing about OU?

My favorite thing about OU is its long standing tradition. As a child, I always knew that I wanted to be a Sooner. The Sooner tradition is unlike any other, uniting students, alumni, and fans.

6. What (or who) inspired you to pursue a legal education?

My inspiration to pursue a legal education came from my younger sisters and brother, whom my parents adopted. In being exposed to the foster care system and seeing innocent children go through such troubling times, I want to do more.

7. What is an interesting fact about you?

An interesting fact about me is that I am an avid bird hunter, and I train my own dogs. Seeing dogs that I have trained pointing wild pheasants is a feeling that will keep me working with dogs for the rest of my life.
