I grew up in Georgetown, Texas, a suburb of Austin.
2. Where did you attend undergrad?
I went to undergrad at the University of Texas at Austin, Hook ‘Em Horns!
3. What degree(s) have you earned?
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree; I double majored in government and sociology.
4. Why did you choose to attend OU Law?
When making a decision about where to go to law school, I wanted to be part of a legal community that was not only supportive during law school, but also after graduation. From my first visit to OU, I felt welcomed and at home at the law school. As an incoming student, I’ve already had multiple opportunities to participate in events at the law school and network with current students.
5. What is your favorite thing about OU?
My favorite thing about OU is the people I’ve met. I wanted a welcoming and supportive environment in law school, and I’ve already found that at OU.
6. What (or who) inspired you to pursue a legal education?
In high school, I participated in a program called Teen Court. A local judge sponsored our program and mentored each attorney weekly. We prosecuted and defended real cases involving high school students. During my time on Teen Court, I developed a passion for helping others through the law. I made a decision to pursue a career in law and haven’t looked back since.
7. What is an interesting fact about you?
I love to practice yoga. I want to become a certified yoga instructor so that I can share the practice with others.
