OU Law to Host "Making a Murderer" Defense Attorney

The University of Oklahoma College of Law will welcome famed criminal defense attorney Dean A. Strang for a Q&A discussion Monday, April 4. Strang is best known for his role as defense attorney for Steven Avery in the Netflix original series “Making a Murderer.” The discussion is slated for noon in the OU College of Law’s Dick Bell Courtroom.

OU Law Announces New Endowed Scholarship

The University of Oklahoma College of Law is pleased to announce a new endowed scholarship for its students. The Frank and Lucille Pope Endowed Scholarship, established by the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Lucille Pope Jr., is more than $620,000 and will generate approximately $31,050 annually to be awarded to eligible students, with a preference given to Native Americans, specifically of Cherokee descent.
