OU Law Student Roy Brown Named Vice President of National Native American Law Student Association

SANTA FE - University of Oklahoma College of Law student Roy Brown was elected vice president for the National Native American Law Student Association (NNALSA) last week at the Federal Bar Association’s Indian Law Conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As vice president, Brown will administer the 22nd Annual NALSA moot court competition, to be held at OU Law next year. The NALSA moot court competition typically attracts over one-hundred student competitors from law schools across the country.

OU Law Offers New Master of Legal Studies Degree Online and On Campus

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma College of Law recently opened enrollment for its new Master of Legal Studies program with classes beginning this fall. The program gives students the opportunity to specialize in one of two areas: Indigenous Peoples Law, offered online, and Energy and Natural Resources Law, offered on campus.

Hartzog Conger Cason & Neville Establishes Endowment for State Department Internship

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma College of Law recently announced a gift of $115,000 from the Oklahoma City-based law firm Hartzog Conger Cason & Neville. This gift established an endowment fund to benefit OU Law students interning at the United States Department of State, Office of the Assistant Legal Adviser for International Claims and Investment Disputes in Washington, D.C.
