How to Apply

First-year students are only admitted in the fall for full-time study. You may submit your application for admission any time during the academic year preceding the year in which you plan to enroll. Applications received after March 15 will be considered only under special circumstances. The Admissions Committee makes every effort to inform applicants of its decision as soon as reasonably possible.

Application Process

There are several ways to apply for admission to The University of Oklahoma College of Law, depending on whether you are applying for the Early Admission Program, Transfer with Advanced Standing, Reapplication, or simply to become a new First Year law student.

First Year Applicants, Transfer with Advanced Standing, or Readmission

Applicants for First Year, Transfer with Advanced Standing, or Readmission have four options:

  1. Apply On-line! (opens in a new window) Requires Netscape 3.0 (or later) or Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later). (IE 4.0 is preferred, and you must have JavaScript enabled.)
  2. Request that an application be mailed to you! Simply e-mail Student Services at law-admissions@ou.edu or admissions@www.law.ou.edu, including your name, address, and phone number.
  3. Call Student Services at (405)325-4726 and request that you be mailed an application packet.

Early Admissions Program

Applicants for the Early Admission Program have three options:

  1. Request that an application be mailed to you! Simply e-mail Student Services at law-admissions@ou.edu or admissions@www.law.ou.edu, including your name, address, and phone number.
  2. Call Student Services at (405)325-4726 and request that you be mailed an application packet.
