OU Law Professor Jonathan Forman Named Kenneth E. McAfee Centennial Chair in Law; Professors Backus, Cleveland, Helton Receive Endowed Positions

The OU Board of Regents today officially confirmed the selection of Prof. Jonathan Forman as Kenneth E. McAfee Centennial Chair in Law at OU Law. The Regents also approved three endowed positions for professors Mary Sue Backus, Steven Cleveland and Taiawagi Helton.

OU College of Law to Offer Online LL.M. Degrees

The University of Oklahoma College of Law is excited to announce an expansion in its legal education offerings. Building off the success of the college’s on-campus Master of Laws degrees specializing in Energy and Natural Resources and Indigenous Peoples Law, OU Law in August will launch fully online versions of the same specialized programs.

True Crime Author and Attorney to Speak at OU Law

Author and attorney Margo Nash, whose book maintains that the murder conviction of a 15-year-old resulted in a miscarriage of justice, will speak at a public lecture set for noon on Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Kerr Student Lounge at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
